As time has shown, the foundation for a healthy, efficient building is properly installed insulation.
The WarmTech Process:
Once the energy audit and our preliminary work is complete and inspected, your home is ready for insulation. Since air infiltration through walls and ceilings accounts for half of a home's heat loss, we start by air sealing all cracks and gaps. After that, we install the specified insulation product in the exterior walls. In the case of cellulose, we install Nu-Wool Wall Seal. If foam is specified, we install Air Tight Closed Cell Foam. Next, we install floor and ceiling insulation. If cellulose is specified we will apply either reinforced poly, or a breathable mess Insulweb to hold the dense packed cellulose insulation in place. If foam is specified, it is sprayed into the cavity to the appropriate depth and R-value. Finally, we install insulation in the roof or attic using a similar method used in the floor and ceiling. After drywall or plaster is in place, we will perform a blower door test and eliminate any air leaks.
